Purpose of the Role:

The Finance Director is responsible for planning, directing and controlling financial, human resources and administrative functions for the municipality by following municipal policies and procedures and in accordance with Federal and Territorial legislation.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Assessment Potential Investors – Prior, at and Post engagement;
• Engage Potential VC / PE Funds in Hong Kong;
• Lead on NDA and Term Sheet with Potential Investors;
• Lead on Company Valuation, PE ratio definition, Investors IRR Rates;
• Lead Investor Due Diligence with MTS Corporation;
• Lead definition of investment amount request, Investors Equity entitlement versus Investment Amounts;
• Lead on establishment of MTS brand through Investment and mobilize Investors resource beyond just Investment;
• Lead on Investment contract creation, legal assessment and Investors engagement;
• Lead on Company Structure Optimization, Legal and Financial;
• Lead on Tax optimization on Investments;
• Lead on preparation MTS listing on HK Stock exchange;

PERSON SPECIFICATION

 

JOB TITLE:    Finance Director

 

	Essential	Desirable
Qualifications	Bachelor degree in Accountancy, CPA Chartered accountant / CPA - strong understanding of accounting standards and regulations
Experience	10 years or more relevant experience in senior management roles and managing staffs Good understanding of commercial, regulatory/legal and tax environment internationally Experience to build up Finance Planning & Administration function	IT industry preferred.
Skills & Abilities	Knowledge of using and managing implementation of accounting software
Personal Qualities	Self-starter and be willing to adopt a hands-on approach to completing individual tasks and leading the finance team Keen interest in continuous improvement of current work processes Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with local and overseas colleagues Hands-on and adaptable in a fast-paced environment Dynamic, positive, energetic, driven and a strong communicator People management skills and ability to work within ambiguity
